Diversified Careers
We are Dr. Nehal and Dr. Monane, or "Umby and Mark." Both certified executive coaches, we have a combined seven decades of experience of applying clinical training and expertise at the bedside and beyond.
We each have each crafted satisfying and stimulating careers ranging from biotech innovation to managed care.
Our careers allow us to pursue our passions with financial independence and flexible hours.
Both graduates of the Harvard Chan School of Public Health and former Harvard Medical School faculty, we met when working in NYC. We each had just completed stints in different Chief Medical Officer roles, overseeing Medical Affairs. We appreciated physician-to-physician peer learning from each other. Mark, founder of a CMO NYC Connect group, invited Umby to present to other CMOs on "personal brand" or how to communicate value as a physician expert. Mark coached Umby on setting up her own LLC and interview prep, while Umby coached Mark on effective LinkedIn use.
Though we both pursued additional non-medical degrees and certifications, we have strategies for how you can expand your employment opportunities without another costly, time-consuming degree.
