So, what do you want your legacy to be? This is the focus of Part 10 of the article by Goldie Chan on the Golden Rules Of Personal Branding. The good news is that you can always revise and enhance your personal brand and by definition the legacy of your brand.

What defines legacy in healthcare leadership? According to Cejka Search, “legacy may be dependent on personality, talents, philosophy, beliefs, or community, so each leader can consider what legacy means within his or her sphere.” Here are three beliefs that are mentioned that are important to me:

· Implementing innovative procedures, services, and technology

· Supporting research and expanding the healthcare knowledge base

· Mentoring emerging healthcare leaders

Francine Gaillour MD, MBA, CPE, FAAPL, PCC in an article contribution to Kevin MD (Kevin Pho, M.D.) states a definition of legacy: The value you create as a healer, or said in a different way, your contribution to healing the world.

At White Coat Blue Blazer, Umbereen S. Nehal, MD, MPH and Mark Monane, MD, MBA are happy to chat with you about your current or future personal brand (and legacy) and your path to either part time #nonclinical work or an entirely non-clinical #career.
