Personal Brand: Be Genuine

Continuing on #personalbrand: Be genuine.
This is a natural for physicians as it is your “why” on being a doctor.
Your passion is still there, buried under a dehumanizing pile of #EHR notes & #priorauthorization denials. That fragmented system that so frustrates physicians does not have to waste so much of your time, if you can position yourself differently and/or get resources you need to achieve results.
Included are some examples of how “father of #quality” Dr. Avedis Donabedian spoke convincingly on a seemingly dry topic of #qualityimprovement.
It is reported he saw himself as an “outsider” as he immigrated from Lebanon in his 30s. Despite that uphill battle to “belong”, his authentic care & #ethics gave us the framework we still use today. Likewise physicians can reclaim stewardship of quality & #safety in #healthcare while being at the forefront on #innovation.
With White Coat Blue Blazer’s courses, peer-to-peer learning, & 1:1 coaching rediscover your core values and direct more of your energy to having the impact you want to have in #healthcare, whether at the bedside or in a complementary role.
