Welcome to the White Coat Blue Blazer#personalbrand series. Today we focus on… #focus, building off our last post here:
When people hear your name, what do you want them to associate with you? That is one way to define your focus in your #personalbrand.
Your “#brand” or focus determines what invites or consulting opportunities you receive or what committees or boards you are asked to join. Reduce the “hustle” by having others reach out to you.
For #WCBB co-director, Umbereen S. Nehal, MD, MPH, she admittedly can be a “Jill of All Trades.” Her “brand” is “systems thinker” & “problem solver” to pull her diverse experiences together. See how she communicates that in this #podcast on #belonging & #DEIB with MIT Sloan School of Management alum Naji GEHCHAN, MD
We are in #womeninmedicinemonth. Dr. Nehal, knowing she may be mistaken as another “sweet” (female) #pediatrician, she intentionally communicates she is a change agent who leans into discomfort that is part of #improvement & #learning. She uses her robust “soft skills”, not to placate, but for #changemanagement.
At White Coat Blue Blazer we support you to identify your strengths & to rediscover your passions by a combination of self directed learning, peer learning in “mastermind” groups, & 1:1 #coaching.
You can enter, thrive & #belong in any space you choose, based on a thoughtful strategic #career plan. Original post can be found at: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6980553836436328448
